What to know before your hunt

What to expect

  • One of our guides will call you within 24 hours of your scheduled hunt
  • Breakfast and coffee will be served in the field if requested
  • We make no guarantee of harvest, weather, or bird activity
  • Hunts begin at 5:30am and end at 12:00PM or when all limits have been reached
  • We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule a hunt
  • Minimum of two hunters required per hunt
  • 50% deposit per person due at booking
  • Hunt should be paid in full 24 hours prior
  • Deposit nonrefundable when canceled by hunter

What to bring

  • Your California hunting licence, duck stamp and federal duck stamp
  • Your shotgun, and 3 inch or 3.5 inch BB for geese
  • Warm clothing. Waterproofs may be necessary, and camouflage hunting gear

Licences, stamps, validations, tags, shooting hours and bag limits are set by the state and change from season to season. We hunt the Balance of State zone. Check what applies to your hunt with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife before you travel, and call us if you are unsure. Your guide will go through it with you when they call to confirm.
